brutalBlog #2 – Current Video Project Update

Where have I been? What have I been working on? This blog will answer those questions (kind of) and more!

Well hey there! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything online, which is a little odd. Usually I’m on Twitter, or Tumblr, or even in my Twitch Discord, but recently I’ve been pretty hard to pin down (outside of an Animal Crossing Twitter account that I occasionally send screenshots to, I suppose.) So what’s the deal?

I’ve just been taking a little break, that’s all! I’ve been so plugged in to social networks and the internet in general for years and years, and recently I’ve managed to step back, take a breath, and re-engage in this “real life” I’ve heard so much about. It’s been really nice!

I really enjoy engaging with fans. The people that enjoy my works are always so chill and I’m really grateful, but I didn’t realize how much the constant contact was weighing on me even though the interactions are always so positive. Basically I’ve managed to cut down on a social-network addiction, and I’m feeling good! Though lately I’m starting to feel like I should re-engage a bit, especially because it might be a little while longer before my next video.

Which brings me to my next topic… videos! Where are da videos?

Just because I’ve been absent from social media doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. As a matter of fact I’ve been working a lot. A lot, a lot. I don’t want to get too specific about it because it’s still too early to tell how or if it’s going to turn out, but I’ve embarked on my largest video project to date. Well, unless you count moving across the country, but that wasn’t exactly done for a video.

I can say that it’s a media review video that I anticipate to be hours long. Yeah… hours with an “s”. So that’s why it’s been a little while since my last video, but I’m working super hard and I’m optimistic that I can get this one done by early next month.

I’m really sorry for the gap in content, but I’m hoping that this investment of time and effort is going to result in something really neat. It’s definitely going to be something that I’ve never done before, that’s for sure.

Twitch Friends, I miss you! I’m going to try and find a point in my video making process to take a little break and get on stream at least once or twice this month. Right now, though, I’ve literally been working every day on this very big video thing.

I hope you guys are staying healthy! I don’t really know how to wrap up this post so I’m just going to end it and get back to work on this video.
