Hello Brutal "iAN" Moose, if that even is your real name. I had a question for you: What do you use to capture VGA output from your old computers? I wish to do the same with something I have restored recently (you saw it on bluesky a while back! Much more complete condition now!), and from what I understand there are limited options to do this, each with their own drawbacks. I only want to capture for discord streaming, so I don't need anything absolutely perfect. Any recommendations or help means the world 🙂

Keep up all the good work!!! My favorite vids on youtube !!!

capturing VGA used to be the most annoying thing, but the technology has improved over the years, thankfully. i use a StarTech VGA to HDMI Adapter (amazon.com/dp/B00JQJV2NA) that goes into an Elgato HD60 S. the capture looks really, really clean. the only hassle is that when you change resolutions on the PC, you might have to have to reset/re-open the capture software (or disable/enable the device in OBS).

good luck!
