I've been a brutalmoose subscriber for roughly 8 years, and I've seen your interests, personality, and creative work change and evolve over the years. Being roughly the same age (I turn 30 in two months), I've gone through my 20s with you and your work. Between a diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder, career trouble, and the usual life bullshit, my twenties haven't been that easy - and lately as I get closer to 30 I've found myself wondering 'what, exactly, am I doing?' But your openness with your own creative struggles, your sardonic hot-takes, and your positive attitude (even when it's sarcastic) have really helped me be less hard on myself.

When you took a pause from gaming content and started new variety content, I was a bit sad; but then I saw how you flourished with the new opportunities and how your passion came through in a way that really makes your new work shine (Brutalfoods is a particular favorite), and it reminded me that sometimes a good thing has to take a back seat so something even better can emerge. 🙂

Plus, you're just really funny and your editing is amazing. VHS-Vintage has become one of my favorite aesthetics because of you. So thank you for the continued entertainment, humility, humor, and hope. You're one of the good ones, and I hope you'll be around and creating in some form for a very long time!
