Hi Ian! One of the first videos of yours that I watched was the ramen joy cookbook video, and I remember you mentioning not being able to find an actual copy of the book. Well, I just recently saw a video on Youtube from "DimesAreTasty" and in the video he actually interviews Cathy Mitchell herself about the cookbook.
TURNS OUT- the reason you couldn't find a copy of Ramen Joy back in 2018 is because THE BOOK DOES NOT EXIST! It apparently didn't test well enough to actually be published, yet somehow the informercial still made it out?
Just wanted to share this little tidbit of info with you! I thought it was interesting and thought you might like an update 6 years later as to why Ramen Joy is missing from existence.

Hey iAN been watching you since I was a freshman in high school. I found you through the Town with No Name video. I really like how you change your style of videos enough frequently enough that they've become time capsules. Rewatching videos like Captain Bible instantly transports me back in time. Ian, I cannot express how much I love the Bingo series (but honestly every video you make, too). It's always so much fun to see these weird games and gives me something to look forward to after work (and fall asleep to)! I had an idea after the first BingoXP where people were going hard on the "cheater" comments - maybe let chat vote at the very beginning if they want to have the board you gave them, or the board you gave yourself. That way if you win, chat can't claim there was any funny business!

Haven't followed your work consistently for a while now, but still love your art and the occasional video that pops up. Did so much homework watching your livestreams and still have bits from Wheel of Fortune seared into my brain.

hello mr moose. i'm 20 years old now. i was 8 years old when i first started watching you. yeah i kinda got unrestricted internet access way earlier than i should have but what kid doesn't these days? i remember absentmindedly stringing together the words "lego" and "island" into the youtube search while trying to find a game i remembered seeing once, only to discover your review. so basically what i'm trying to say is, i've been watching your channel for the solid majority of the time i've been alive, and pretty much the entirety i've considered myself sentient. and i'm a young adult now! ain't that a funny feelin? also, it's my friend cheese's birthday when i'm writing. he just turned 19 and has a very similar story to me

hey ian, would you ever consider putting captions on your videos? i know it’s harder now that community captions are gone (or have been gone for a while) and it’s another step to consider when editing, but just curious! been a big fan since the lego island days 🙂
