Pathologic is a possibility. it gets recommended a decent amount and despite not being well versed in the survival genre, i do really love the visual style. i might give it a shot some time.

In 2023 I was found to have a cancerous brain tumor, have been in ongoing battle since then resulting in 3 brain surgeries. I've been a vod-watcher since about 2018 but 2023+ your content has been a significant presence in my healing journey! You don't scream as a form of entertainment like some streamers (ugh). Your content is so calm and chillax-friendly, while still funny/entertaining! Perfect for my journey. Thank you for all that you do, and I greatly appreciate the effort you put into your content. 🙂

I ended up getting my husband into watching you soon after I found you, and now my 16 year-old miniature pinscher, named Angus, who is our grouchy old man in diapers, falls asleep to your calming yells of frustration when telling those pesky Norns refuse to follow directions, or listening to you eat ham mousse with mouth sounds ever so audible.

rewatching the old mystery tapes episodes whilst setting up my phone and i noted in the intros you often say "vhs tapes from around the globe". obviously not actually holding you to that because that'd be ridiculous, but have you looked into trying to get hold of some tapes from overseas before? would be really rad to see some non-american tapes even if they're just from the uk or whatever.
keep doin whatcha doin, i treasure every vid you drop <3

i have not found any overseas tapes yet, but maybe one day!

man i've got no idea how to answer this one, i feel like the perception of game difficulty really differs from player to player. i was pretty proud to have followed through with Tomb Raider on PS1 recently, though. totally out of my wheelhouse and very punishing.
the OG intro on the most recent video kind of threw me for a loop for a moment,I've been watching brutalmoose since I was in middle school and I'm in college now. your videos have always brought a smile to my face even if I look back and giggle on what I found funny back then
