omg hiiiii!!! i just looooove your videos, and i have been watching since i was like 10 years old, uhhh restaurant empire? yep. facade? oh yeah. isle of the dead? and hey, maybe im not the most OG fan, but it must be said, not many youtubers stick with a man from childhood to adulthood, yet here you are, still creating videos that pop up on my homepage to this day, your videos are no different from your childhood television show that happens to pop up randomly, and it still being just as enjoyable as you remember it.
I may be no scholar so ill just end this little letter of mine with this, continue being you and making videos you love and we all will keep watching.
CHEERS! šŸ˜€

Hello! I’m watching your latest video now and I wanted to pop in and check out your art again I really love it and it was a big surprise to me when I first learnt about this side of you a long time ago back when you had your older style of content and it’s really cool to see it.

I’m 23 now truing 24 soon and learnt I’m trans kinda recently lol but I’ve been watching your videos for years idk exactly how long but i remember your old video game review videos back when you where more the ā€œGenericā€ (I use that term loosely) ā€œangryā€ video game reviewer and watched your channel slowly evolve into what it is now. One vide I still remember and was reminded of recently was your faƧade video and I loved seeing the ā€œlet me go get us some drinksā€ that you added to the Lego island 2 vid it made me laugh so hard. I was also a really big fan of telivoid! I miss that series a lot, a new favourite of mine is seeing you go through old tapes and brutal foods is always fun.

I’m an artist myself…or at least trying to be at this point. I took art in college then animation and thanks to this whole trans thing and everything else I ended up failing and getting so burnt out I really really struggle to draw. I mention this because I wanted to say seeing your digital art today inspired me. Idk if I’ll be able to draw still yet..I’ll try but seeing me have me a bit of that spark of inspiration again and I hope to one day be able to draw like I used to and incorporate my new understanding of myself into my art.

So thank you for your videos and your other art that have been keeping me and so many others entertained for years and I wish you the best!

Howdy Ian!

I've been a long time watcher (since 2017!). I always thought it was silly that I moved to Seattle when you moved to Texas and celebrated the day you came back to the Seattle area. Thanks for the giggles over the years. Your streams have been getting me through the grad school grind the last year and a half. Much love.

Hey Ian! I've been watching you since I was like. 12 years old and literally today I just submitted my thesis proposal for my masters degree! I love your videos and feel like I've grown to appreciate your videos and your sense of humor as the years have gone on. Have really enjoyed watching your videos during my college years as I wind down in between essays and classes. Thanks for being this casual constant in my life!

Just popping in here to say love your content šŸ˜€ Youve been my "cozy" goto channel for ages now and I always enjoy when a new upload pops into my feed.
Also, those mega bowl fried chicken things are gross, ive had them a few times on lunch breaks and theyve never tasted good :/

I've watched Ian for years now, through the worst of times, and the worserer of times, and you know covid I guess. But he's amazing, there's just something amazing about his brand in how the writing is both the best type of slow comedy and genuinely informative. I don't trust googlereviews, but I trust Ian! Truly a mans man of manness. I'm a woman btw

Dear iAN,

Really can't express how much I love your videos and how awesome your style is. I've been struggling with a lot of health issues and your content really cheers me up and makes things at least a little more tolerable, including your music and streams! There are days when I can't get out of bed and things are rough, but it really cheers me up to watch a silly food review or hear a "plop" unexpectedly. (Actually, I named my car Plops, seeing as how it's my trusty steed! My boyfriend HATES it.)

My mom is also a huge fan of yours, and together, we fear for your stomach and sanity every time you eat 282189821 flavors of instant nood or 80000000 mgs of sodium from a Banquet meal.

So sorry for the ramble and complaining on my end, haha. You just do such fantastic work and it's so great to be able to take a second even among some pretty severe health issues to just enjoy your stuff. I hope you have a great holiday season and new year. You make so many of us so happy and you definitely deserve it.

Best wishes,
HamsterNoootion

pretty simple setup!
VCR -> Elgato Video Capture
It's probably not the best quality possible, but it has been reliable.

I'm writing you to kindly request a 7 day consecutive viewing of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. I think you would really blart your pants because of just how awesome this movie is. It has some really HIGH STAKES. You should take the GAMBLE, and watch the movie šŸ˜‰

Have a Merry Blartmas, Ian!

Hi Ian!
Writing to say thanks for making cool stuff and putting it out there into the world. It's great to see someone create such a variety of work, and I hope that you have a lot of fun making it. I'm curious: are there different things that draw you to different mediums, or is it the creative aspect overall that gets you? Do you ever picture a project as one format and then find it switching to another one? Wishing you all the best.
Admin Reply by: ian
i don't think that i've ever had an idea change mediums... i've had ideas that have spanned different mediums, but none that i've scrapped for a different one. that's an interesting thought, though! i'll keep it in mind for next time an idea isn't working out...

as for what draws me to different mediums, it's usually the media i'm enjoying at the time. if i'm consuming a lot of tv/movies, it makes me want to work on videos. if i'm listening to music a lot, i want to make music. if i'm seeing a lot of good art lately, i want to draw. i've just always been hopping around!
